so i've had eczema ever since i was born (im now 15). Im lactose intolerant and when i have dairy, (doesnt really breakout when i have er or cheese, just with plain milk) I tend to breakout with eczema. I know i shouldnt have any milk (but hey, a girl's gotta eat some cereal every now and then) so i've been drinking soymilk. i have eczema on my arms, and on my neck. i also have a little bit of flakiness on my eyebrow lines. Its sorta on the eyelid and on the brow. The left eye is worse than the right and it kinda started to "droop". it seems like the skin is inflamed and it looks like i have a lazy eye. can someone please help me! are there any home remedies that i can put on my eczema and suggest something for my eyes? thanks

My picky eater is 13 months and weighs 16.5 lbs. At her twelve month check up she weighed 15.5 lbs. Is this ok

She was 7.5 lbs at birth and gained regularly until about 9 months. She was 14 lbs at 9 months and has only gained two lbs since. She was fed until 7 months old. Then given soy formula because I was not comfortable giving her milk based anything until she was at least a year. However at 10 months I gave in and began giving her regular formula, besides that I fed her three times a day,and gave her snacks . She always had plenty of diapers, though sometimes wetter stool. She Goes #2 two to four times a day and sometimes it is very wet. She is very active. The Dr says I need to feed her more. I have begun feeding her solely table food. Eggs, cheese, cereal, olive oil, milk, veggies (avacado, spinach, brocolli ,peas carrots, sweet potatoes, white potatoes),french fries, bannanas, gs strawberries, pasta and sauce,she won't touch meat,or beans or rice, or yogu. I give her goldfish and iron supplimented gerber puffs, her cereal has iron and DHA, her milk has DHA, and so do her eggs

Hi there ladies!!! In April, I miscarried at 9 weeks. I ended up having to have a D&C because the fetus wouldn't p on it's own. I just found out today that we are expecting again and when I first found out, I was super ecstatic. Now my excitement has turned into fear of miscarrying again. My first miscarriage was due to unknown reasons. I talked to my Mom and she told me that often times a first pregnancy does end up in miscarriage ( I think she was just trying to calm my nerves ) and that the second pregnancy is usually healthy. Not sure why you think "horrifically bad" but I got the picture. The purpose of telling a story, be it fiction or non, is to communicate a thought or idea. I thought it was very descriptive of the details and created a scenario I could see in my head and almost experience with my senses. You gave enough detail but did not overdue it to the extent of boredom. When people read fiction they want the experience of feeling like they are there. Just keep finding descriptions of detail that triggers the readers senses. Like right now I am thinking of chocolate! I can see it, smell it and taste it though I have not even bought it yet:) Just keep in mind it is easier to make the reader experience something they have actually experienced. When it comes to something less common, pay special attention to the key details to make it come alive. Your little excerpt here scores an A+ in my book!!

Myth #3 the Soviets may have been winning the major battles, But were loosing the hearts and minds of the Afghan people and as we are now finding out the Afghan's are tough. Myth #4 The Afghans might not have supported the " Rebels " in heart or mind However they did give comfort and aide to the enemy. How much does running in heat and humidity affect running? I ran in 83 degree weather with 70 humidity and it was absolutely terrible! I usually can run 4 miles with little problem but today I could only run a mile or so and I couldn't push anymore. (I went on and off after the mile and a half, but for very short distances.) Does heat really affect your running performance that much? Or am I just a frickin wus? lol

Why do you think my grandmother stayed in her marriage?

My grandfather is a very mean spirited person, and was a bad alcoholic until he reached about fifty years old. My grandmother tells me she stayed because she didn't have a mother to help her and her father also died at a young age. Anywho my grandfather kicked out my uncle when he was a teenager and my uncle's body was found dead two weeks later. The day after his body was found my other uncle broke his neck in a diving accident and my grandmother had to spend the next 13 years caring for him full time before he died. '94 Ford F150 starting problem ... HELP !!?

I have a 1994 Ford F150 5.8L V8 and no matter what I do I have the same problem. When I try to start the engine the starter continues to turn over even if I turn off the ignition and remove the key but the engine does NOT start. I have replaced the battery, starter (including solenoid), relay on the firewall & ignition switch with NO change (all brand new parts) and still the same problem. The only way to stop the starter from continuing to turn over is to disconnect the battery cable. The truck has been sitting for about 2+ years if that helps.

Extreme headaches.. ?

im 19.. almost 20 and ive had these headaches for the last 2 weeks straight day after day.. advil, aleve, excedrin and anacin wont help at all.. i just started seeing a chiropractor just in case it is tension.. and nothing so far helps.. it hurts so much i almost want to cry.. i got these headaches last year as well where i had them for 4 months straight day after day.. i went to the dr had xrays bloodwork done and everything.. no tumor, no blood pressur issue, etc.. the only thing new i have is pericarditis for my heart but idk what to do.. its so hard to deal with day in and day out and sometimes i feel i cant make it trhough the day.. :( please give me some advice

Not much of a friend anymore?

Hi, I have a friend that I met online about a year and a half ago. She can be a good friend at times. But, in the last half a year, shes gotten pretty narcissistic. She apparently is prettier than me, though shes never seen a picture of me. Has larger than me, (I find that pointless, but I have never told her my bra size... why would I?). She is undoubtedly God's gift to me. And I can hardly count how long I've had to endure listening to her trite teenage angst. While I've had problems of my own, I had to listen to her go on and on about what I find pointless things. Through out this, I've looked at this from a "what ever helps her sleep at night" point of view. But lately I'm pretty sick of it. Its hard to speak to her seriously that it bothers me. I wouldn't be heart broken if the friendship ended, but it would be nice if I could keep it. And I have another friend through the same place we met and shes also friends with him. And I know if I say anything, she'll go off and probably turn him against me. I can't stand drama, and I usually don't let myself get involved in it. It sounds like you've got it right. I think your trainer just wants you to realize that you'll never have the perfect body. With the economy like it is. Is it wise to have a huge family. Sure you/your spouse have a good job now but what if it wasn't there. I don't understand the need to have more than 3 kids. My Nephew Screams WIth Fear When A Plane Fly's Near The House - Please Help?

Hi and thanks for taking the time to try and help, my nephew is 18 months old and I am looking after him due to her mother being incarcerated, the problem is we live near an airport and when a plane flies over the house (its not loud as by the time it gets here its really high in the sky) its enough that you can still hear it, my nephew screams with fear and runs and hides. This is becoming a problem as there would be at least 30 planes a day to fly over. Why do people hate marijuana?

I don't understand how or why people hate this wonderful herb/drug. It feels great,it's harmless,it's not addictive, it's safer than alcohol and tobacco. Why is it so illegal and why do so many people hate it? Why do people want to stick their noses in other people's lives and want them jailed just for having marijuana? That's stupid. might be an obvious answer, but maybe find lifts that you can do that don't hurt your back. experiment with incline, decline, and flat benches, erfly lifts, leg lifts, curl while sitting, wall sits, anything that you can do that doesn't hurt. also maybe try wearing a back supporting belt or some kind of brace. i have spinal scoliosis and it causes a problem when i lift sometimes, not pretending like my pain is anywhere near as bad as yours, but i mean sometimes it messes with my routine and i just gotta skip a few lifts.

MBA or MS Finance Degree?

A little background; I have a BA Social Services degree but am currently working in the business world as an accounts receivable manager. I am attending Webster University (out of Missouri) and am currently in their MS Finance program. However, I am not 100% sure I want to only have a Finance degree and am considering switching to their MBA program since I am only in my third cl. I do not have a clear direction as far as a career goes at this point. I enjoy numbers and business (not sales at all) but want the degree that will open the most doors in the long run. I dont give much credit to perdictions now adays. There have been billions of people who have lived mostof which dream and predict about the future. What they dont take into account is that all of his predictions require metaphoric interpretation and that he literally made thousands of predictions. When you make thousands of general predictions it becomes very easy for society to mold their current events into the predictions. Also when it comes to predictions they always predict an event but never an outcome. It would be amazing if these prophets would give an oucome to their predictions. Occupational therapy seems to be an excellent choice. It's in big demand and society needs more of them. Be one of them and be a service to the community. Don't like math? I don't know hardly anyone who loves it but it's a necessary evil in order to excel in many occupations so suck it up and start applying yourself in math and your grades. Look at it this way, it may be tough but it will be tougher to be a unsuccessful middle age loser and that may be where you are headed if you don't start studying hard now. You can achieve anything you set your mind to.
